Our Mission
Our mission is rooted in the values of equality, dignity, and empowerment. We aspire to foster a community where women and children are not merely recipients of aid but active participants in their own development. We work to instill self-confidence and independence, enabling them to contribute positively to society. Here at Pramanik Women & Child Welfare Society, our efforts include educating and spreading awareness about:
- female health and hygiene issues & the importance of proper nutrition
- domestic violence
- importance of educating girls and fostering independence
- child labour
Pramanik also leads small-scale relief efforts to stricken communities during times of need, including:
- helping unprivileged children with resources and even entertainment
- helping recognising hidden talent in unprivileged children among orphanages
- providing aid to the homeless during floods, heat waves, winters
- providing aid to people in need in oldage homes
- providing monetary aid for women and children in need of financial support for medical reasons

Our History
Established in September 2020, Pramanik is a non-profit voluntary organization which started as a small group of 7 members volunteering our time and offering aid to less privileged societies in Assam, especially women and chlidren. We are dedicated to creating a more equitable and prosperous future for these vulnerable individuals, by providing them with essential resources, education, and opportunities. Together, we strive to build a community where every woman and child can thrive, regardless of their circumstances.
Education lies at the core of our mission. We firmly believe that knowledge is the key to unlocking opportunities and a brighter future. As such, we strive to ensure that every child, regardless of their economic status, has access to quality education. By doing so, we aim to equip them with the tools and skills needed to overcome the challenges they face and to aspire to a better life.
